NCAA bracket?

Of course it has its place, and it's where most things end up anyway. Babble about soup. Babble about dogs, mouthwash, you name it. Don't forget plenty of insults.

NCAA bracket?

Postby Johnson on Mon Mar 14, 2005 4:23 pm

It's cutting it close, but is anyone interested in doing a Yahoo! NCAA bracket group? We could do something like a $5 buy-in.

Any takers? I could probably set it up, but we'd have to be quick about it as tip-off is Thursday (I think).

For the record, I don't really give two shits about basketball. I just like filling out the bracket and trying to take my friends' money.

UPDATE: feel free to join, one and all. Here's the relevant info...

Group created, invite sent. I sure hope it's not just the two of us.

We can make it if we try, though, just the two of us, you and I.

In case it doesn't send it out in the invite emails, the Group ID# is 71567 and the password is tta_basketball. Actually, I think you can skip the invite email stuff altogether and just go to http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/men to join.

UPDATE: yep, looks like you don't need the invite email stuff. Just follow the instructions above. Phil's already in. Well, except that Yahoo! apparently doesn't support IE on OS9.2 and it crashes Netscape for him.

Oh, actually, I meant to say that anyone who wants to join and can't afford it can feel free to make a bracket anyway. You won't win any money, of course, but so long as you let me know beforehand that you're not playing for keeps it's all good.

I was wondering if you were in, actually.

Good thing you decided not to put in any money, Mr. Syracuse National Championship
